CE-Credit.com’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, as set forth by the Texas Board of Social Work Examiners.
30 hours of continuing education during each renewal period
At least **6 of the hours obtained must be in the area of professional ethics and social work values and 3 hours in cultural competency.
For supervisors, at least **3 of the hours must be in the area of supervision theory, skills, strategies, or evaluation. These hours may be counted toward the total number of hours required.
All licensees are required to undergo an HHSC approved human trafficking prevention training course as a condition of renewal, in accordance with Chapter 116 of the Occupations Code. Approved training courses can be found on the Health Care Practitioner Human Trafficking Training webpage. (We do not offer this training.)
