Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants must complete 32 CE hours every 2 years as a condition for renewal. The Board requires continuing education courses to be “integrally related and germane to the practice of the profession,” and “relevant to physical therapy.”
Continuing education courses do not require pre-approval by the Board. If you have a question as to whether or not a course would meet the criteria you may submit an application for board review. Guidelines for acceptable CE credits can be found in the Rules: https://dopl.idaho.gov/pht/pht-statutes-rules-and-guidance/
