Physical Therapy licenses and Physical Therapy Assistant certifications expire on June 30 of even-numbered years.
The Board requires all licensees to have completed twenty-two (22) hours of continuing education activities for the biennial renewal period
- Two (2) hours must be in an ethics and Indiana jurisprudence course as it relates to the practice of physical therapy.
- Hours must be obtained within the renewal period and cannot be carried over from one renewal period to another.
If a license or certification has been valid for less than twelve (12) months, no continuing education hours are required for renewal.
