OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS/OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANTS
Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapist Assistants are required to complete a minimum of 20 continuing education hours per 2 year renewal period.
- At least 1 hour must address ethics/jurisprudence/cultural competence. Licensees can meet the ethics requirement by successfully passing the Occupational Therapy Jurisprudence Exam for renewal: https://otptat.ohio.gov/occupational-therapy/continuing-education/ot-jurisprudence
- At least 1 hour must address mental health or substance use. Any presentation related to the OTPTAT Board’s Safe Haven program counts toward this requirement. You can access one free hour of CE on-demand by clicking on the OTPTAT training link at https://www.ohiophp.org/continuingeducation. Once registered, you must use the passcode FL5j?+Ea to access the training.
