About the Course

This course provides detailed information regarding the supervision of caseworkers whose job is the protection of children living in homes where domestic violence is occurring. Issues addressed include the nature of child protective services supervision, making the transition from caseworker to supervisor, maintaining staff performance standards, and taking care of oneself. A glossary of terms is included, as are listings of selected resources and child abuse reporting telephone numbers.
