About the Course:
This course is based on a National Cancer Institute book written to help you learn from people with cancer. Finding out how others respond to cancer will help mental health professionals and cancer patients understand feelings associated with the disease. Learning how others manage the special problems that cancer brings might help you identify ways of coping with the problems that come along with living with cancer. Resources for additional information are included.

Describe the emotions people often experience upon learning they have cancer.
