Comparison Between Two Continuous Performance Tests for Identifying ADHD: Traditional Vs. Virtual Reality

About the Course

ADHD is a common disorder affecting upwards of 7% of the school-aged children. While the use of questionnaires, combined with a detailed clinical interview, is one of the most common ways of diagnosing the condition, using questionnaires as the primary diagnostic tool is ripe for clinical inaccuracies. The use of Continuous Performance Tests (CPTs) has been shown to provide a more objective assessment, but these have inherent limitations as well. This article presents research on an innovative assessment approach utilizing virtual reality.

This course is based on the article, Comparison Between Two Continuous Performance Tests for Identifying ADHD: Traditional vs. Virtual Reality created by Celestino Rodriguez, PhD., et al. in 2018.
