Psychosocial Interventions for Mental and Substance Use Disorders

About the Course

In this report, the committee explores the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, and how they change accountability and performance measurement. The effectiveness of psychosocial interventions, creating an evidence base, consistency of systematic reviews, accountability, and measurements need to be established. The committee laid a framework to facilitate this.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Psychosocial Interventions for Mental and Substance Use Disorders created by Mary Jane England, MD et al in 2015.
