This course covers a meta-analysis of several studies, systemic reviews and other meta-analyses of brief interventions for problem gambling. It includes: problem gambling vs pathological gambling, numerous studies and a seminal review and meta-analysis by Cowlishaw et al. SBIRT protocols were found to be effective at treating gambling problems and gambling disorder.

Research interests include the intersection of reinforcement learning and stress in affective disorders, transdiagnostic cognitive processes involved in the maintenance of psychopathology, and the relevance of these processes in psychological interventions.
