It includes: current evidence on effectiveness of the following practices included in the guide to address stimulant use disorders: Motivational Interviewing, Contingency Management, Community Reinforcement Approach, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Practical information to consider when selecting and implementing practices to address stimulant use disorders; descriptions of programs that use practices from Chapter 2 to address stimulant use disorders; and guidance and resources for implementing best practices, monitoring outcomes, and improving quality.
