Treatment-seeking Behaviour Among People With Opioid Use Disorder in the High-income Countries: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

About the Course

This study explored treatment seeking behavior in people with opioid use disorder (OUD) in high-income countries. The meta-analysis included 13 papers published in the USA, and concluded that only one in five people with OUD was seeking treatment in the past year. Further research into barriers to seeking treatment for OUD is suggested.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Treatment-seeking Behaviour Among People With Opioid Use Disorder in the High-income Countries: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis created by Natasha Hall, PhD Candidate et al. in 2021.
