Studies on clinical supervision in therapy have focused on the most effective aspects of the time spent between supervisor and supervisee. This is a quantitative exploratory study addresses the presence of supervision approaches and whether these predicted clinicians’ evidence-based treatment technique delivery. Several suggestions are offered for increasing the effectiveness of supervision with youths exposed to trauma.

Dr. Meza is a clinical psychologist and implementation scientist focused on reducing the gap in access to quality mental health services in community-based settings. She is a collaborative researcher at Kaiser Permanente Washington Health Research Institute. She has published multiuple works in peer reviewed journals.
Rashed AlRasheed, MAS
Rashed is a graduate student in child clinical psychology at the University of Washington. His research interests include improving youth mental health outcomes. He has had multiple works published in peer reviewed journals.
Paul Pawlicki, PsyD, received his degree in clinical psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL, in 2005. From 2004-2006, he taught courses in general psychology, abnormal psychology, and human sexuality at Collin College in Plano, TX. He currently practices individual therapy at the Department of Sexual Medicine at Park Nicollet Health Health Services near Minneapolis, MN.
