The majority of people with dementia living at home receive care primarily from family members. This study identified five distinct caregiver management styles and explored how these styles influence care quality. The findings suggest potential strategies for tailoring interventions to better support caregivers and improve outcomes for families affected by dementia.
This course is based on the reading-based online article, Characterizing Dementia Caregiver Style in Managing Care Challenges: Cognitive and Behavioral Components created by Amanda N. Leggett et al in 2021.
