This classic text presents the most relevant points in clinical neuroanatomy with mnemonics, humor and case presentations. It covers general organization, blood supply, meninges and spinal fluid, spinal cord, brain stem, visual system, autonomic system, and hypothalamus, cerebellum, basal ganglia and thalamus, cerebral cortex, and a clinical review.
The book now includes and interactive CD with a lab section, 3D rotations, interactive anatomy, tutorial on neurologic localization, and quiz. clicking on any structure in the nervous system brings up the name of the structure, the neurologic deficit when injured, and graphic explanations for the deficit. clicking on a patient’s symptoms graphically show the areas of the nervous system that correspond to the deficit, with explanations.

Stephen Goldberg, M.D.
Dr. Goldberg has a uniquely combined career as a neuroanatomist and family physician. A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, he subsequently trained in Neurology, Ophthalmology, and Family Medicine. He has done research on neuronal development and regeneration, published numerous papers in neuroanatomy, and taught neuroanatomy for over 25 years at the University of Miami School of Medicine.
